Brian C. Coester, CEO

Brian Coester has been CEO of CoesterVMS since 2005 and has over eight years of professional experience in the appraisal industry. The son of one of the east coast’s most reputable appraisers, Brian literally grew up in the business. Since becoming CEO, he has grown CoesterVMS from a local appraisal company, to a nationwide provider of appraisals and appraisal technology. He is the mastermind behind Cloud Control, the only appraisal process management software built on the award-winning Salesforce.com platform. Brian is a highly regarded speaker, presenter and trainer in the appraisal industry, and has authored numerous articles for the mortgage and real estate press.
Brian maintains sole proprietorship of CoesterVMS and its subsidiaries.

Jacob Guertin, VP of Business Development

Jacob Guertin entered the mortgage industry as a production assistant, and quickly rose to the ranks of management. With years of loan processing experience, Jacob developed and implemented an innovative, paperless loan production system during his tenure at First Choice Bank. Joining the CoesterVMS team in July 2012, Jacob provides a wealth of systems and training knowledge.

Toni Bright, Chief Compliance Officer

Toni A. Bright has been actively involved in the real estate industry since 2000. As the Chief Compliance Officer, Toni brings a unique perspective to CoesterVMS as she holds a real estate broker’s license and has also worked for 8 years in the regulatory compliance industry prior to joining CoesterVMS. Toni is well respected within the state regulatory industry. Her regulatory experience and understanding of the appraisal regulatory requirements provides a competitive edge to CoesterVMS.

Brendon Kelley, VP Of Operations

Brendon Kelley is a certified appraiser in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia with over ten years of appraising experience. Brendon has appraised numerous properties utilizing compared sales analysis, cost approach and income approach to develop opinion of market value for mortgage banking, government funded loans, private estates and tax purposes. Prior to joining CoesterVMS, Brendon managed a team of appraisers and administrative personnel for a regional appraisal company serving several major investor.

Fritz Schaper, Director of Operations

Fritz Schaper has over 15 years of mortgage industry experience as an administrator, processor and underwriter. He joined CoesterVMS in September 2012 and has worked diligently to assist in the organization and development of both the Order Desk and Vendor Relations Departments.

Suzette Bosch, National Market Leader

Suzzette has more than 15 years of internal and external sale experience and has developed excellent management skills during that time. She has cultivated sales opportunities in new markets and has the ability to motivate others to do the same. Suzzette has nearly a decade of financial industry experience including seven years at Deutsche Bank’s DB Home Lending and at 1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia in the secondary market division.

Markia Davis, Order Desk Manager

Markia Davis began with CoesterVMS as Order Desk Assistant in 2014. Her experience in the customer service industry aided her as Vendor Relations Manager where she assisted in managing the network of Appraiser Partners. She is currently Order Desk Manager where her goal is to ensure appraisal orders are assigned to a qualified Appraiser Partner in a timely fashion.

Tobi Athanas, In-House Counsel

Tobi Athanas has recently joined CoesterVMS as In-House Counsel. Her experience in civil litigation, contract negotiations and government proposal compliance provides a background well-suited to the demands of legal and compliance issues within the valuation management industry.
